The ALT codes

Hello friends... Previously I discussed Empty/blank post in Facebook, Smileys and emoticons for Facebook and Symbols that you can use in Facebook... These topics and the topic which I'm going to discuss now have a relationship.. Most of the symbols that I have used in those topics are ALT codes…

ALT codes are nothing but a set of numbers which are typed holding the ALT key in keyboard. These codes offer the best way to insert a non-ascii character i.e., symbols.

The important thing is the set of numbers should be typed from the NUMPAD which is in the right side of the keyboard.

For example,

Hold ALT and press 1 in numpad to get ☺ symbol, ALT+1 = ☺

Just open notepad and enter the numbers holding down the ALT key
